Welcome to our site and sound.

Frayed Knot is a band of brothers - more meta than physical - but brothers nonetheless. We put

this together to give our musical interests an outlet and to give the locals something different to

listen to. We play classic rock - country - oldies - and whatever else strikes our fancy. We have

three lead vocalists, and three-part harmony, and that's hard to find in your typical small-town band.

It's an eclectic mix, and it's pretty neat, so you'll just have to experience it live to see for yourself.

We play every other Friday night during the summer months, at Old Pines Golf Course on County

Road 13 (next to Sunny's Campground) north of Wauseon, Ohio - it's out in the boonies, but well

worth the trip. No cover - a 50/50 drawing is held once in a while - come early to obtain a seat in

the sun porch - seating is available in the club house and also outside on the patio. Lots of cold

beer and it's priced really reasonable. ( Shhhhh - don't tell Mike! )

We placed ourselves on the list of bands at the Toledo Blade's 'Battle of the Bands' web site, open

to online voting for the best live band of 2009 - the site is still available, so you can check out all the

different bands and genres - we got invited to play downtown Toledo, but didn't win a spot in the

later qualification rounds. Better luck this year, if we try again in 2010... (...geez - I'm a poet...)

There will be more additions to this site to follow - this is a work in progress right now. Leave me

a note and tell me how we're doing...

Thanks for looking in here on the web - you GOTTA come see us in person!

 - Adam -

We have a demo disk of 6

songs that we recorded

so that we'd have some-

  thing to prove that we

actually play music - if you are interested in ac-

quiring one, please ask...

Some of these songs are placed here on the site.

(lemme know if you want me to change the songs around)
